Today is our ten year wedding anniversary. As I sit here and reminisce, yes, each year has gotten better and better. I truly am married to an amazing guy. I love how we complete each other and uplift each other. I couldn't imagine being married to someone who was depressed at the same time as I was ....nope, my hubby knows just what to say or do to make me happy! I love you Honey!!

Fun in the Summertime!
Fun in the Summertime is what we've been having...and we did in the Springtime too! Don't know why I haven't posted since then?? So, since I last updated on here, Kentons arms have healed up so nicely. When he rides bike or plays any type of sports for that matter, he still needs to wear a brace on his right arm until this fall. He will have another follow up appointment with his doctor then and we'll make sure it is healing properly! Poor kid gets pretty frustrated sometimes when we are at the park and I have to keep reminding him that he can't hang from the monkey bars yet either! So, there's a lot of updating to do. Here are some pictures from when we went to Baby Animal Days during Easter time. Lydia had her figure skating show that she was in. She did great! Someday I'll have to figure out how to put videos on here! We went up to Yellowstone National Park and spent one night up in Montana. We went down to Salt Lake City area and went to the Aquarium there and took the kids the the Mayan Adventure restaurant! They loved it! I also put Kiera's 6 month photo on here and when she had her first solids. She's a great eater! We've also taken a trip down to Arizona for a Cross (my mother-in-laws side) family reunion. And, just recently my brother got engaged to a wonderful girl from Northern California, so we'll be going there and the southern part of Oregon for a wedding!! Yeah!! I've always wanted to go there! We'll probably go to North Dakota for a reception there as well! And, of course....the 4th of July! Oh what fun! Kiera LOVED watching the fireworks and had a big smile on her face for the most part...since I was covering her ears! Scott and Kenton were also in two parades on the 4th for a Hockey float! Kenton had his jersey on and roller bladed around with his hockey stick! He looked great! So...here's a couple pictures to catch you up on our events! And, as always, you can see more of our family pictures at http://www.rinkshots.com/family
What do you think?
Y So, my background has been like this for a little bit...but, what do you think? Scott got me a digital scrap booking program and I made my background with it! I've been downloading scrap booking papers, embellishments, etc. and just LOVE it! Although, if you have time for the real thing... that is also, still very fun! My favorite sites for free stuff are: digitalscrapbookpages.com (got to Categories and their free stuff) and shabbyprincess.com (click on downloads and they are all FREE!!!), but there are many others out there too. Sure does make setting up and taking down of scrap booking supplies a thing of the past...although I do still have a lot of that sitting in a closet! Someday....But, in the meantime, I'll do the digital! Y
What a day!
Feb. 6, 2009: My oldest, Kenton, was playing at recess today after lunch on the rock climbing wall and broke both bones in his left forearm and both bones in his right wrist! He fell and tried catching himself with both hands to the ground..OUCH!! He is doing really good. They were able to re-align the bones very nicely...even the ones in the right wrist that were overlapped a bit! They are in splints right now and can't have casts until the swelling goes down. He has an appointment on Monday to get the casts.Feb. 9 Update: He got a cast on his left arm, but his right arm is still a temporary one, but they put one layer on. They want to make sure it is healing properly first. That is the one that was broken at the wrist, where the bones were overlapping in the x-ray. We have an appointment scheduled on Tuesday, Feb. 17, to get a cast on that arm.
More difficulties: Last night Kenton and Kathryn both got Croup!!! We went in to the doctor today and they gave them a shot and hopefully tonight will be a better night.
Thanks everyone for all your prayers!!! His classmates already made him a get well soon poster and he has recieved cards and treats from neighbors and friends as well! Kenton, everyone loves you so much!!!
