Christmas Concert

December 11, 2008

Kenton and Lydia had a combined (Kindergarten and First Grade) Christmas Concert. There were LOTS of kids on the stage and we could barely see them to video tape it, but it sure was fun watching them! The best part is to hear them sing the songs over and over again at home (especially "Rudolph")!

Thanks for coming!

December 6, 2008 Grand-dad and Grandmother Cooley and Jason, Cathy, David, Katelyn and Ashlie Cooley were all able to come up from Arizona for Kiera's baby blessing! THANK YOU so much for coming guys!!

Kiera's Baby Blessing

Kiera's One Month Photo!
Hello Everyone!! Sorry for the short notice, but we wanted to let you all know that you're invited to Kiera's Baby Blessing on December 7th at 1:00 pm in Clearfield at Tyson and Alycia Nelson's chapel (Theresa's Sister), she will be blessed on the same day and in the same place as their daughter Brenna. They are such cute cousins!
The address for their church is: 1895 South Main Street in Clearfield, Utah.
The easiest way to get there if you're coming from I-15 is to take the Antelope Drive exit, turn west and keep going (just like you were going to their house). You'll go past Layton's Main street by K-Mart (don't take that one) and go up and over the overpass that goes over the railroad tracks. Turn left at the light on South Main Street where there is a Chevron on one corner and a Phillips 66 on the other. The church is on So. Main, across from Antelope Elementary School.
Sacrament is first (1:00) and you're all invited over to their house (125 East 2200 South - a few blocks south of their church) right after for some snacks. If you can come, great! If not, no worries!

3 weeks old

This is Kiera's 3 week picture!
I can't believe how the time has passed so quickly already!

Crazy Hair!

Last week (Oct. 27th - 31st) was "Red Ribbon Week" (Pledge to be Drug Free) at Kenton and Lydia's school. They wore red on Monday. Tuesday was crazy hair day...which I just had to share these pictures with you!....Wednesday, they wore their team clothes... Kenton wore his hockey shirt and Lydia wore her soccer shirt. Thursday, they wore pajamas to school and Friday was Halloween, so they wore their costumes to school. They had fun wearing different things to school but the best was Lydia's hair and their Halloween costumes!

Kenton's first hockey game of the season

Kenton had his first hockey game of the season on Saturday. He played great!
It was nice having Grandma there to watch his first game too!

Happy Halloween!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! We hope you all enjoyed Halloween this year! Scott always dresses up for Halloween to try to win the costume contest that they have at his work each year...he won a gift certificate for a restaurant! So, he took me out to dinner tonight! It was so yummy! The kids are always so excited for Halloween each year! This year was a special treat to have Grandma here to go trick-or-treating with them too! Happy Halloween from G.I. Joe, a hockey player, a black cat and a cute little witch!

Introducing.....

Introducing Our New Baby Girl!
Kiera Roxie Cooley
Born Sunday, October 26, 2008
at exactly 10:00 pm
7 lbs. 10 oz.
20" long

Another update!

Today I had another doctors appointment. The measurements she took indicate that I am already in the early stages of Labor! I guess that's why I always have Labors that last not even an hour long! I go really fast! But, she cannot induce patients until 39 weeks....I will be exactly 39 weeks on Sunday, October 26, 2008...so I will check in with the hospital that morning and be induced around noon this Sunday!!! We're going to have a new baby girl in less than a week...or even sooner if she decides to come earlier than that! Oh, how exciting!!!

Pregnancy Update!

Well, I am now 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant! I feel like I'm counting down the days...but, at the same time, she could be here any day now!
On September 25, my doctor did her usual "growth ultrasound" at that time, to make sure everything is going okay...and everything is great! Here's a cute picture of our little girl!
On Tuesday, Oct. 14, I had my most recent office visit and everything is going great! The doctor said she could be here any day now...I'm completely ready for labor, just need to dilate more. Yes, hospital bag is packed and ready, and I can't wait for my mom to come here next week!
